Infrared Sauna
Infrared saunas are said to have pain relieving, detoxifying, and even weight loss benefits! Saunas are also known to help with chronic fatigue, seasonal mood disorder, stress relief, and sinus infections. Infrared sauna sessions are by appointment only, so be sure and let us know you want to try our Infrared Sauna, you'll be glad you did!
Before entering the sauna, it is important to hydrate fully. It is recommended you drink 12-16 ounces of water both before and after sauna use. Our relaxation room is stocked with fresh glasses and cold water, so that you can drink a glass of water prior to use. You do not need to shower before entering the sauna, but we recommend you do not apply any lotion or creams prior. We ask that you sit on a towel inside the sauna. Temperature is set between 100-140 degrees. Beginners might feel more comfortable at the lower range, and you should never feel uncomfortable while using the sauna. After your session in the sauna, you can head over to our beautiful showers to remove the sweat and toxins prior to your appointment.
Clients with any questions regarding the use of saunas due to a medical condition should direct them to their doctors prior to use.
